How do the Barnes X bullets perform when they hit bone? My wife is a pretty good marksman, but nobody can make the perfect shot every time
I have shot a few bucks through the shoulders and one in particular broke both shoulders and exited the deer . I have used barnes 85gr in the 243win on deer and antelope and have never recovered a bullet yet even if they hit bone . Never lost one either .
