Second, Using mock scrapes are tricky. I think a common mistake people make is putting a scrape where they want deer to come. Not where the deer are.
Make a scrape in an area deer are traveling, and don't set up right on top of it either. Remember you can shoot about 30 yards with a bow. So set your stand at least 15 yards or more away. Hunt it with a good wind, and don't be discouraged when you don't see anything. Keep refreshening the scrape. After sometime, if you eliminated any human scent, deer will actually keep the scrape open themselves. Thus, advantage to you. good luck!
