I walked into the first covey without shooting and told him that the next time Susie did her little chessie point I was going to shoot. The birds went up and I looked back at him and said get ready. I pulled one bird down that Susie brought back. He looked at me and said "What'd you do that for?" I said we were hunting. "WHat do we do with it?" he asked. We'll eat it I said. "oh" he said "lets get some more!" This weekend is fall shotgun in KY and we are allowed to use dogs for the 1st time. The leaves are turning and I think we'll take a walk.
