Default RE: shot one

i dont understand why i didnt get a pass through im shotting a mathews MQ32 at 72# draw weight with carbon arrows and im using first shot broad heads there not fixed the do have razor tips ,i have shot a pie ball doe on opening day and i had a good pass through .
Most pass thrus are done on broadside shots , not........
he stoped at about 10 yards from my stand and was facing me ,he started acting funny like he was going to run so i toke the shot . i aimed just on the right side of the back so the arrow would pass through the lung .

I know you were excited and all but it is best to wait for that broadside shot or quartering away shot. A quartering towards shot , if that's what it was , you said he was facing you , will involve a stomache hit. And to answer your question , you didn't get a pass thru because I'd guess your arrow hit the hind leg on the opposite side.

Hope you find him , good luck!
