ok, guys i had a pretty nice ten point come right under my stand this evening ,he stoped at about 10 yards from my stand and was facing me ,he started acting funny like he was going to run so i toke the shot . i aimed just on the right side of the back so the arrow would pass through the lung . when i shot he jumped about 4 ft in the air and he toke off . it was almost dark so i didnt try to find him i did look for my arrow and some blood i didnt find either i didnt get a complete pass through ,i guess that is why i didnt find any blood , has anyone had this happen and if i can not find a blood trail how do you track a deer that has been hit like this?
