Greek hunter,I did not know about any grants. Pa hunters are just not ready,maybe not aware of the road we are going down.Other states did and we see the results. Lots of land being bought up and leased to pay to hunt outfitters. Land is hard to find that is resonable in Pa. also.Land that has any deer pop anyway. For example there is 25 acres down the road from me. Zoned for 1 home only or ag 245,000. barely enough for 1 hunter. The economy isnt to good either and the majority of peole are credit carded out. Me Im disabled on a fixed income, anit much I can do. If I had the resources I would not be in this state.I would of moved and bought a couple thousand acres. When I lived in South Texas you either paid to hunt leased property or bought some.Very little public land. Up here we have a nice amount of public land ,but the PGC would rather grow trees then sustain a good deer pop. so they want them killed big time.
