vanilla, trust me it works!!!

always stick to Doc's Scents, it is by far the best I have ever used! They have the dominiant buck for scraps, regular doe, and doe in heat. Use them with drag rags and watch. I have tried all the name brands out there! Tinks 69 is garbage. If you can not find Doc's any where try code blue scent poppers, they have mixed bags of what you may be looking around for.
My wife turned me on to Vanilla. She explained to me that it is somewhat similar to the scent that does put off as a "safe trail". She learned this stuff at "B.O.W." workshops-anyway, it also intoxicates deer to some extent. The first time I used it was in North Carolina. I was hunting a ground blind under a huge pine tree. I really screwed up, because I put the vanilla/water combo on my boots......very heavily. I walked to my blind, leaving a heavy scent straight to my tree. A buck straight out of "Bow-Hunters Heaven" came over the hill, only to crane his neck and lip the air straight towards my blind. I couldn't even breathe, because he just walked as slow as molasses straight towards me, craning his neck, lipping the air, and staring down the trail, right towards me......lesson lived, lesson learned. It works, though. I use it as a cover, and a light spray as an attractant around my stand. Main reason I like it so much, it is cheap, and so am I. I use about 1 oz of Vanilla to 12 oz of water mixture, and it is still very strong. I use a spray bottle that I bought at the dollar store to mix/use it in.
Anyway, good luck with it. Hope whatever you pick pulls 'em in for ya.
