sulphur around the perimeter if you and the deer don't mind the smell. A tower blind will stop snakes, but coons, ring tails, mice and wasp will get in if there is a way.
Sulphur alone will not stop them, it gets under their scales and irritates them and due to that is likely to make them a bit more cantankerous than usual. Same with Napthalene,(moth balls) it does not work alone, it irritates their Jacobsons organ (used for sense of smell) but alone will not keep them away.
