For the money, they are worth it. And I am hardcore anti "new" Tikka person. I liked the continential and whitetail models. I don't like the action style, don't like one size action, cheap stock, etc. But for less than 500 dollars you can't expect much. I have followed three people to range, and they rarely met the guarantee. That guarantee doesn't mean much, remington and weatherby has them too. All you can do is send you rifle off (big expense), and then you get back a letter saying its A OK. I definatly wouldn't get one in Short Action. But wouldn't think bad of anyone getting one.
