That scope was my first choice but they were sold out. I decided the 4.5x14x42mm would work just fine so I took it.
On a side note they were sold out of several scopes that day. They said sales were booming. This is my first Burris. I hope they are as good as I have been told? I have two simmons scopes on varmit rifles. All of my other scopes are Leupolds.
I figured this rifle would make a great carry rifle for coyotes, fox, antelope & deer. All of my varmit rifles are HEAVY. The only other light rifle I own is a Ruger M-77 300-win mag.
