that's pretty much how I've started out . I shot(and still do) a 40# one piece recurve for about a year before buying the 50#er . It's a good fit for me , very comfortable to shoot . I shoot at a foam 3-D in the backyard every chance I get , and so far I've got my grouping tight enough for me to feel comfortable bow hunting with it this year .

I doubt that Byron Ferguson is losing any sleep over me , but the deer have been avoiding me so far ...
