i am 25yrs old, and i have been in some tree with my climber that i dont know what i was thinking........anyone ever get into a tree with a climber that had no bark?? Yea that was me last weekend, and when the stand started to slide, i got the heck out of dodge, but the summit did its job and got me safely to the ground but it was windy and i didnt want to take the chance of the whole stand slipping. I dont wear one when climbing but i wear one when i get set up, i am very careful.
