RE: ANYBODY USE A .22 for COYOTE HUNTING
Actually, I use .22's for Yotlers. If you use the right bullet, that is not the cheapy Wal-mart specials, you'll do O.K. I like the Winchester Power-Point and Remington Cyclone for a standard hollow point. The CCI Stinger's good too, if your gun will shoot em'. The new Quik Shok by CCI is a good choice too. With these, pt the bullet broadside in the heart/lungs, and if he's under 100 yards, preferably 75 or closer, take him. If your using solids, put the bullet in his skull. But, those shots have to be close. In my experiance, if your calling them in, and if your camoflauged and don't move, they will run right past you. I agree a .223 or whatnot is a better choice, but I know not everybody has one. Good hunting.
