Although I have hunted exclusively with my handloads for the past 45 years, last year just for fun I purchased a box of standard Remington 150 grain Core Lokts ($9.99). In my 700BDL 30-06, two 100 yd. 3 shot groups were about 1 inch.
I hunted with them in Va. last season, and shot 3 bucks--45 yds, 122 yds, and 186 yds. Not one of them moved out of his tracks. In each case, bullet action was just about perfect.
