Default RE: Suggetsed Loads for Rem 700ml

I had the infamous 700ML in stainless. I was a nice gun and shot great (when it did). I took it out about 2 weeks ago to line up a new Nikon Prostaff to get ready for early ML season. Well, I left without it being lined up. I had 3 misfires (hit the cap, but no fire). And, I thoroughly cleaned my bolt assembly. I bought the green tool to do it. I got aggrivated and left. I traded it in for a TC Thumbhole Stainless Fluted Omega and never looked back. I honesly like 700ML's. The are atractive and sleek. But, Remington needs to do something in the muzzleloader market. They haven't changed anything about it since its release (except the 209) in 1996. That is almost 9 years people. Other muzzleloader manufacturers have came up with multiple guns in that amount of time. Remington needs to offer another type of muzzleloader, breech loader or break-down or something. Since my 700 was stainless, I bought a Nikon Prostaff Silver 3-9X40 to match. MISTAKE[:@]. I used 777 and still had blackpowder burns on the bottom of the scope and the stainless Leupold DD mounts. I sold the scope/mounts on eBay and bought the Nikon Prostaff Matte version. Well, same thing. Still got blackpowder burns on the matte scope. That is aggrivating, two brand new scopes with powder burns. The 700 has a lot of backfire. Too much for me. Though, after having it only one year, the polymer tipped Hornady SST bullets shot the best. They grouped nice and helped take down a 4 point buck at 25 yards!!!
