My first rifle was a Stevens 46M 22lr given to me from my papaw while he was lying on his death bed. He didn't hunt much in his older days, but used that rifle to control the stray cat population in town where he lived. I'd fuss about him shooting a rifle in town, but he'd just say, "I've not hit anyone yet!" Old folk, man, you've got to love 'em!!
