RE: 375 Ultra Mag or 378 WBY?
A quick check of Remington's and Weatherby's ballistics charts say the following about muzzle velocities:
Rem 375 UltraMag
270 grain @ 2900 fps
300 grain @ 2760 fps
Wby .378
270 grain @ 3180 fps
300 grain @ 2925 fps
Either should feel quite pleasant on the shoulder, I'd think.. :-)
