I was interested to know what everyone's first rifle was or what they consider to be sentimental. Personally i started hunting with a win model 94 30-30 when i was twelve and loved the gun. I sold it a while back and regret it. Even though I am into the larger callibre's now i still miss my 30 and regret selling it every day. My younger brother has just began to hunt and I bought him a 94 30-30 and it brings back so many good memories and hunts. Even though many people critisize the 30-30 i beleive it is a fine deer rifle for shots around the 1-150 mark and especially in thick wooded areas!
