Ive got them on my omega , and love them . They work great . The guy from gander mountain is full of it . The reason I have them is , one of my friends had a big 10 point come under his stand 3 years ago he aimed and shot and hit his stand . He got to watch the 10 point run away . If he could have used his sights that would not have happened , needless to say he changed . He has a contender , and it uses the same rings and mounts as the omega . Allso scopes are legal in Florida where Im from , but I hunt Georgia allso and they arnt legal there , I can sight in , and just remove my scope when I go to Georgia .
I'm sure there are quite a few people who like them. They certainly make enough different kinds! The only "see-under" design I've used that IO like are the German claw mounts. They are strong as hell, and also permit instantaneous removal and reattachment with no change in zero. The only disadvantage to them is the mounts cost more than your rifle!!
