I have a savage pendulum sight it works awesome. No need to worry about choosing which pin to use cuz you only have one, plus it takes the angle out for you when in a tree.

To answer you question if your hitting left move the sight to the left. If your hitting right move your sight to the right. Sounds like you almost go it sighted in. Good luck.
