As for the team - any score is fine - it puts us on the board...

I wasn't gonna go out last night (its Wed. as I type this) due to the fact that I hadn't seen anything on Sat. or Mon. night, but I did go out kinda late.
I get up to the far corner of the property to hear a lot of noise. I thought it was just the squirrels and chipmunks until I noticed a small sapling thrashing around. I could see a buck with ivory white antlers just rubbing away. Unfortunately with all the cover I could not tell for sure how many points but he was at least a 6 pointer. He noisily made his way off.
The ground was dry and every step crunched but I made my way to the corner of the corn field and stood behind a giant oak tree trunk. I had a fox come up to about 10 feet away. That was awesome and I wish I had a camera with me! Then I seen deer feeding in the funnel between two fields of corn. It was a mother and twin fawns. The fawns are now just about adult size. I could have possibly shot the female fawn but I thought she was just a little too far. The dumb buttonbuck came up to about 12 feet and never knew I was there. I'm giving the buttonbucks a three strike rule - on the fourth time I am shooting as I need meat in the freezer! On the far hill beyond the corn I could make out 9 deer feeding. And people say there are no deer around...... Plus, I seen three deer on the morning hunt. Now I just need to be in the right place at the right time!
