Summit Viper X4 field report.
I bought mine a week ago. I've seen them talked about quite a bit and finally bought in. Carrying it to the stand was a dream compared to my old warren and sweat. There was virtually no noise from the stand. The old one rattled when you walk. This didn't it's also much lighter. I get there and putting it on the tree is a breeze. I get up the tree much more quietly and with less effort than before. The seat of the pants harness and the prussie hitch system you use is actually usable when you climb. The other's I've used were a pain. Then I sit down. Not bad....... After an hour I was more impressed because I can still feel my arse. I stood up. No wiggle at all. Rock solid platform. I adjusted the seat to hang a little lower and then sat back down. NOW WE ARE TALKIN. I hunkered down and took a little cat nap. I was completely comfortable and felt totally secure. I had to leave a little after noon but I could have set there all day. The stand is luxurious and spot on utilitarian. It does the job very well and does it in comfort. I don't regret the cost at all.
