Something else you might look at are the accessories on the bow. Most bows can be silenced pretty well, but if you have cheap accessories (sight, quiver, etc) they could be the culprit, especially quivers. You might try removing one thing at a time to see if they are making noise. As for the arrows, it takes more info to see if the arrows are too light, although heavier arrows do absorb more energy from the bow. I shoot two different hunting arrows, one weighing 316gr and one weighing 420gr and can't hear much difference in noise level, but then again I have very good accessories on the bow.
