recently while grouse hunting in some cut over's fordman30 and I found rubs on 8in diameter trees. We searched the surrounding area but only found faint trials and some smaller trees rubbed.there is a big semi open ridge at the top whith cutovers on both sides well three sides actually,anyway we are hopeing it will snow so we can go back and see some tracks and maybe get some idiea which way these deer are traveling and were they are coming from there is also a few appletrees in a field at the bottom of the ridge we know they are traveling to this field probably at night other people hunt the lower part of these fields, so we want to get them up on top where everyone is to lazy to travel . if you can give us some advice on how to look and find these deer we would be thankfull we hunt in the mountians of North Carolina we are going to dedicate 1 or 2 days a month this year to scouting for these deer
