If he's looking for a synthetic stock then there are lots of them on the market. A couple of the best ones are Mcmillan, and H.S. Precision they'll generally run about $275-$350 dollars, more if you get custom features like a thumbhole. Look them up on the net they both make quality stocks, though there are lots of others as well.
