I had a small 3x3 come by my treestand this morning. He slowly worked his way to my tree. He walked in on the same trail I used last night, so he seemed really cautious. When he got to the base of my tree, he looked directly up at me. I made no movement whatsoever that would have made him look. I've had lots of deer look up at me in my treestand when they are 15+ yards away, but never when they have been standing right below me. Last night was the first time I've hunted from that tree. To make things worse, I think he was only 1 1/2 yrs old. I think these deer are getting smarter quicker. Won't be long and they will be hunting us!
