Interesting, thanks for the responses everyone. I think I made the right choice to let the doe walk since the fawn did not appear to be very big. The doe smelled where I walked in and she turned and walked back where she came from. The fawn stayed behind though, so maybe she's mature enough to make it on her own. Oh well, I guess I just have to go hunting more now
