i'm gonna say its a big ole cowhorn spike that has lived in soft mushy soil, hence the big hoof prints, naw j/k from the looks of things i'd say its a bruiser, but like someone else said i wouldn't wait for the rut, i'd be there now if the seasons open, good luck
