Yes, it is a little slower to operate but no big deal once you get used to it.
A friend of mine in Michigan said his Pro Shop there replaced 4 Apple Presses with the Sure-Loc.
My local Pro Shop will only use the Sure-Loc and retired their others.
The large rollers of the Apple and other like presses put too much pressure on the bow's riser.
No way, can they be adjusted to fit a bow like the Sure-Loc press. JMO
