That's five deer in just the last three years not the last thirteen. We just started hunting this place hard about three years ago when my FIL purchased the extra acreage that we now hunt. Anyway, were the only hunters to take deer off of his property so he should be barking at the other hunters who haven't taken a single deer in that time frame.

The situation was managed just fine so we thought. Our stands were placed at opposite ends of a funnel(that's two stands, now there's three)plus a fixed wooden stand on the ridge far above us. We do have climbers and use them when we feel that we must move because were not seeing game, but that hasn't been a problem because we've seen plenty of deer in this location(it just smells like deer when you walk into it).
