jigs tipped with a shiner or two, leeches, minners, rapalas trolled, spiners, heck if ya cant get it in front of there face and they are willing to bite it'll probably work. Key in the spring is usually keeping it slow as the water temps are still low and they are usually still recovering from spawn when opener starts.
