Jeez, you guys talk like ya own the place.
If it looked good to you, it probably looked good for the same reason to him. Even if he is a "tag along" they never last long and you may find it handy to sit in HIS stand some time.
If it was still gett' n on my nerves I'd nail the nut sack to his steps next time I killed one.
I've hunted public ground where this one dork was hauling homemade ladder stands all over 200 acres and thought it meant he owned that spot. I used his stuff when ever I felt like it. He had literally 15 stands out there and left them all year. It's first come first server on public land and you have to remove all stands at the end of the season.
They aren't "buying" an acre of public ground and keeping me off it for the price of a couple two by fours.
