I use match 22 LR ammo, has about the quietest report without to much velocity loss so the action in the 10-22 still fuctions correctly. My favorite and one of the cheaper of match 22 ammo is Wolf match extra has a muzzle velocity of 1050 fps thats with a 40 grain bullet, plenty of punch for squirrel. the report is a mild crack shouldnt bother your neighbors at all.
