Default RE: indoor worlds how do they work

fireflight, this is probably my most favorite shoot of the year. You do not have to qualify, this is actually a qualifying shoot for the outdoor world.
This is what to expect, a quicker pace than an outdoor shoot. You get there and when your group time is called, you have a little instruction on what will happen during the shoot. Then you proceed over to the practice bales and get to shoot as many as you can in about four minutes or so at 20 and maybe thirty yards (but, I believe last year there were only 20 yard bales). After that, you will be guided to the first target to take the line, you will have up to 2 minutes to shoot the first, step back and over, and shoot the second, go score/pull and repeat until you have shot all forty.
Although the pace is pretty quick, you will have plenty of time to judge your shot and shoot, Bowpro said it best last year when he said that if you think your being rushed--your not (or something like that). It may seem that way your first time there, it did to me, but the second time was more relaxed, they are not going to switch positions or pull until everyone has shot. Oh yeah, they do a very good job at telling you when to do what, it keeps things moving very smoothly.
Get yourself ready for a very fun shoot. Difference between indoor and out, no backups, no rain, no mud, comfortable temps, and I have a hard time judging yardage inside (even worse than outside). One shoot not to miss if you can make it. Hope this helps, and welcome to the IBO. butchb
