Default RE: T/C Black Diamond Loads

I shot three different loads out of the Black Diamond XR with the 1.5 X 4.5 Bushnell Banner Dusk to Dawn Scope today at 100 yards. I shot some 250 grain Shockwaves, 375 grain Buffalo Bullet SSB, and some 460 grain No Excuses conicals. I was shooting 100 grains of Goex FFFg for the sabots and 80 grains for the conical.

At 100 yards the Shockwaves did the best coming in at a strong one inch group. They hit about an inch and a half above the bulls eye. I have not figured that out as last time they were right on. Perhaps a change in temp or humidity. The Buffalo Bullet SSB all touched the bulls eye on the bottom of the bull. An excellent group.

The No Excuses conicals had two touching each other and the third just about a 1/2 inch away from those two. They also hit a little high and to the left this time.

All the shots were excellent and of hunting quality, but I want to shoot them again and see if the group changes...

I also brought out the Wolverine II LK-93 and was shooting Barnes Expanders out of it through a RED DOT. I was very pleased with the 2 inch group it shot at 100 yards. All the hits were in and around the bulls eye. I fired a total of 6 shots to see if they would fly out of the way, but they hung right in there. I was shooting them with 80 grains of Goex FFFg. I also shot some T/C Mag Express 240 grain XTP's and they held in real well with the 80 grain load also. I think the Wolverine will be shooting expanders this season.... The Black Diamond will be shooting the Shockwaves.
