Default RE: Martin's "sex sells ads"

lmao You've got to be kidding me... I swear if I see another thread about Martin's adds it'll be all too soon.

So the limb bolts are backed all the way out, BIG DEAL. I don't want to sound sexist or for anyone to take offence to this, but we're talking about a woman in a male dominated sport. Maybe she can't draw more than 45lbs.? I couldn't when I first started. Take a look at her arms and shoulders. Now where near as big or as well developed as a man's. You're argument seems pretty weak at best, you don't expect her to be pulling back 70+lbs do you?

So the arrow is a bit "too long." I never knew that there was a right or wrong length for an arrow. For all we know she may be dead accurate with an arrow 2 or 3 inches longer than what you may think is the "right" length. When I started I was shooting a 30" arrow with a 27" draw and I shot damn well with them for a beginner. Another poor argument if you ask me.

Do you guys really have so much time on your hands that you pick apart every little thing? If you want to do that you could also take a look at her form, the way the bow is set up, etc. She's got good form and the bow looks to be set up for her. What do you think (her being in the Martin family and all) that she actually shoots that bow? Pretty good I'm thinking.

So Martin's got a good looking Daughter-In-Law in the family who can actually shoot a bow. What's the problem using her in their adds? Jealous?

I just don't get it guys...

Martin is using pretty girls to sell their bows. Why? The quality and performance must not be there.
Pat, Pat, Pat... Thank you. You made me laugh. That comment alone made me actually laugh out loud. You're my hero for the week, hows that sound? Because Martin uses a marketing strategy that's been around since there's... well... been a market, you think their product must not be that good? Do I really need to bring up the Mathews/Hoyt child-like name calling in their adds? I stand behind Martin Archery 110% when it comes to product quality and performance. I couldn't be happier with my bow, it even helped me take my first archery deer this year. Yeah, real poor equipment...

Give it a rest guys...
