RE: Barnes X Triple Shock - your opinions
I've used the 168 gr. TSX in my .300 Weatherby Sako and I'm sold on them. They're accurate and they work like a charm on deer. Here's my load.
168gr. Barnes TSX
84 grs. RL22
Norma Brass
Fed 215 primer
OAL 3.64"
If you try this load, work up to it cautiously from below and if you use a different brand of brass, be especially careful. I haven't run this over my Chrony yet, but I am very curious as to what kind of velocity I'm getting.
I'll be working up some loads in my 7mm Rem Mag soon using the 140 gr. TSX. I think I'll be using either H4350, H4831, RL22, and\or IMR4831.
