thanks for the in depth info. i will contact the t.l. people to see about getting some answers and maybe a replacement or fix. the rounded edges seem like a bad idea but i havent had a problem yet. i bought the new version because of the great track record of the company and the reliability of my old stand. i had no idea they sold the company and the revisions were part of the new company.
