i'm shooting 2 pellets (100gr.) and my gun, t/c encore 209X50 seems to do the best with, when i first got the gun i automatically wanted to load 3 pellets, then i remembered what an old man that work for dixie gun works told me, on a blackpowder gun its only going to burn so much powder, after that you just throwing a big fireball out the buisness end and waisting powder, he proved the point by standing over a piece of newspaper and firing a 50 cal. hawken, he was shootin 90 gr. of fff, when he went to 100=110 the newspaper started having burnt specs on it, not sure if pyrodex does this or not, but if 2 pellets are shooting fine why make you front loader a killer on both ends?
