If it's a staging area (close to bedding area) with alot of acorn producing oaks they will spend the latter part of the morning there feasting on acorns before bedding down which means if you go walking in there at sunrise the chances are very good your gonna run into them. Like I said it is huntable in the morning if you play the wind and enter a couple hours before daylight (before they get there) providing there is agriculture crops where their browsing at night. In the afternoon when they leave their beds thats the first place they will go.
