RE: Tree Lounger Climbing Stand
To add more. I was afraid I would lose it like I have before.
You'll notice in the vee section they used the semi rounded extrusion. The old model and the new one I received last week have the squared angle.I'm not an engineer but common sense tells you you don't want a rounded surface to grip or bite into the tree.I see from the new one I got Bob Hice quickly changed that poor design. The new version was lighter. That possibly could account for some slipping. Not as much weight for leverage. The newly revised one is back to being heavier again like the original were.Treelounge has known for a long time there were problems. Apparently the other owner didn't care.Bob Hice does care about his customers and fellow hunters.I'm not saying TL will do anything. I can't speak for them of course.I know when I contacted TMA it worked miracles.I have the names and email addresses but I won't post them here.If you need this info email me and I'll get it to you. During hunting season I'll be in and out so it might take a little time getting them to you. Put in the subject box Treelounge. If not the Big X will come into play. I wish all of you luck this season and becareful using these new versions. No deer is worth getting severely injured of killed over.
