RE: Which Savage Arms 110GXP3 , 111FXP3 , 116FXP3 ???
I would have to go to thier site to see what different ones you are refering to. I have owned about every model of rifle that Savage makes and I was a dealer for about 20 years so I sold most all of them as well. They all basically use the same action and its a good strong action. As tough as anything else out there. The triggers were never real good as far as being shootable but they used to be adjustable. The lasy ones I have had were not. I would not hesitate to buy a Savage rifle as you will get a good solid accurate rifle at a good price. I would however get one that has thier new accu-trigger although a gunsmith can install a good after market trigger for less than an arm and a leg. All thier new rifles now come with the accu-trigger. If you are going to be useing it for deer only I would look at a middle caliber such as the 7mm-08 or 308. If you plan to use it for bigger game then the 30-06, 7mm Mag or 300 Mag might be what you want. As I recall Savage makes rifles in at least the 300 WSM as well. I don't know for sure what other WSM calibers they might carry. I no longer like the heavy recoiling rifles so If it were for me then the 06 would be my upper limit. It would do a good job on all North American game providing you do your part. Good Luck and good hunting.
