Although I use Rockets exclusively -- and with excellent results -- I'd have to agree with 5 shot; they are not near as sharp as they should be from the factory.

Not questioning your statement, but I've never heard of a deer double-lunged with Rockets travel near that far, razor sharp or not. They are sharp enough, and open up a big enough hole, that I've had all five whitetail I've double-lunged fall within sight (50 yards or less).

I've taken a few others with Rockets which were not double-lunged which traveled farther, but like I said, none which were perfect hits. Even on those, my blood trails looked like they had been poured out of buckets.

Again, just my experience -- as well as those whom I know personally who use the head.
