RE: Tree Lounger Climbing Stand
About the Levelers. They were an option. There is a recall on them. The bolts were pulling through the thin aluminum. I had both of mine revised and received them back last week. The revision didn't amount to much. They took a powder coated aluminum plate 1/4" thick and mounted in on the back bar of the Leveler.
Anybody interested I'm selling them. I have two for the seat section only. I'll take 25.00 ea plus shipping for both or 30.00 plus shipping for one. These were around 60.00 each.
Treelounge came out with the BITE-N-BLADES a couple years ago. These mounted on the back bar to help stop the slipping. I received a free set from TL.It helped the foot climber. It wasn't to be used with the Levelers.I'm sure it would have helped the seat section if I didn't use the Levelers. The Levelers are no more. At least I don't see them on TL's site. They now have Angle Adjusters. You have two settings. One inch or two inches. They run around 40.00 if I remember correctly.t_miller probably won't agree but Treelounge hit bottom. The new version about ruined TL. Now that Bob Hice is back I'm sure things will turn around for the best.If I hadn't had the experiences with mine I might think OEH was exaggerating. But from my experiences I know he's not. He's being honest and telling it like it is.I have read allot of complaints concerning the new versions. Here and on other sites. When I contacted TMA I didn't hold back my feelings. I told it like it was.If I had known that BH was back at TL I would have tried contacting them again first. It's pretty bad when you contact a business and can't even get a reply. That's all water under the bridge now. I'm sure it can only improve.I'm looking forward to trying my newly revised new version again. I'm sure it will be like the original TL's were. Thanks God Bob is back and we can have decent and safe Treelounges again. I still will use my Treelounges on occasions but after buying my two JRH Gunslingers last year the TL's will get used only once in awhile or I should say as a last resort.. The Gunslingers to me are allot nicer stand. Less money and easier to use.
