I'd stayed right where I was and not made a sound or movement. The does knew something was there but I assume they busted you on movement and not odor. If they eventually left you alone without identifying you, I don't think there was any harm done. I would not have started blowing and such to imitate the does, maybe someone on the board has used that technique and can add something about it but I ain't never tried it and don't plan to.
