What pushed me into bowhunting was all the bad shotgun hunters!! Where I live you can only hunt deer with a shotgun, and the gun season brings in all sorts who never pick up a gun until its time to push the deer into a field and unload hundreds of shells into it. Its pitiful. Anyways I had scouted out a deer and had him all set up for opening day. I had a climber treestand I was hunting out of. But the sun came up and no deer! We'll I looked across the way a good 100 yards and there was this guy sitting down next to a tree with a shotgun leaned up against it SMOKING! All that hard work and set up for that. So scince I was the only one that was supposed to be hunting that land I let him know it and he just took off. Never found out who he was but the kicker was that when I came back to my stand the next day it wasn't there!! I always new I should of shot him when I had the chance

So I gave up my gun and picked up a bow and fell in love with it. To this day I haven't gun hunted for deer.
