RE: Question about G5 montec
I can tell you that they fly great, and penetration is awesome. I blew completely through a bear at 20 yards one afternoon, touched up the blades on a diamond stone that night, and blew through a deer at 20 yards the next morning with the same arrow and broadhead. My hunting partner had complete pass-throughs on both of his hits, and the heads were none the worse for wear. If you can avoid rocks or metal target frames, I see no reason why they won't last you several seasons. I will say the tips seem to be a little fragile, but the broadheads as a whole are great. I shot through the opposite leg bone and the tip got slightly curled. Three hits on a flat file and the tip was back to acceptable. They are a little more pricey than Muzzy heads, but they are definitely worth a try if you can get past the pricetag. If you consider that you don't have to buy replacement blades each year, the cost evens out pretty quick.
