I grew up in a anti hunting household. Not anti Bow....anti HUNTING.
My parents aren't activists or anything like that but my dad still asks me...."How can you kill them?"
He doesn't get it but know it makes me whole and for me it's like church so he lets it lay now.
I love the bow for a couple reasons.
1. Proximity
2. Challenge
3. I love archery and shooting...much more fun than shooting a gun to me.
4. Solitude.
I can hunt 50 yards from another bowhunter all season and we'll never know the other is there unless we're tracking or bump into each other on the way in or out. Silence is golden.
