Yea or Nay?

I'm soul searching for a flat shooter to keep company with my 45 70. I hunt infrequently (my schedule sucks) but it could see deer season in the midwest soon.

I would anticipate replacing the trigger if it is as bad as I hear. Maybe.... do a new barrel later.
