Fellow members,

I have just experienced the most exciting hunt of my life. I was in Colorado for 2 weeks and backpacked deep into mountains and finally caught up with a beautiful 5x6 bull. My picture is to large to download so please just imagine!!! I went on this hunt on public land and without a guide. The reason for this post is to encourage anyone who has been considering or dreaming of hunting elk to do whatever it takes to make it happen. A hunt like this is not only rewarding because of the harvest but more so because of the beautiful country I was privilaged to view. Fellow members, if you enjoying hunting at all, I highly suggest you save some money, gather up some close friends and experience what the good lord has provided us. Words can not describe the Rocky Mountains. I will carry and cherish the images and memories for the rest of my life.

I can honestly say, I hope each and everyone of you have had or will experience a hunt like I just experienced. Never take for granted your health our our freedom to do what we enjoy most (BOWHUNTING this beautiful land). SO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT!!!!!!
